We’re screening a black and white silent film in the window of our College Street location from Thursday, June 29th onwards.
Thund’ring Hoofs was shot in Toronto, by Torontonians in 1942.
A small metal factory was unable to function as they couldn’t purchase the brass they needed to manufacture their war time product. The factory workers, unable to perform their regular jobs, formed a summer drama club and shot this film!
Privately owned; only one copy exists, it has been transferred to DVD for you to enjoy.
