Arts Market is Hiring!
We’re Toronto’s first year-round Artisans Market. Founded in 2011, we are currently hiring a new Manager for our Danforth location.
Would you like to work on a small, tight-knit team? Are you a multi-tasking, quick-thinking, customer service-oriented person?
If yes, your work days would be 11am to 6pm Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, extra coverage for sick and vacation, and extended holiday hours/days.
Your Daily Tasks
Some of your daily tasks; check customers out and gift wrap, help vendors set up spaces, host meetings for potential new vendors, complete onboarding of new vendors, keep market clean, keep market stocked, social media work, and create and execute front window displays.
Skills We Look For
Great written and verbal communication skills, ability to work alone, work with very little instruction, handle a multitude of personalities tactfully and respectfully, great time management skills, and managing multiple tasks at once.
Experience
Customer service experience is an asset, an interest in the Toronto hand made local, vintage, and arts scene, and having managerial experience is an asset.
